Live a different experience in the mountains of Magdalena Milpas Altas, where the adventure begins in the early morning and culminates with the arrival of the first rays of the sun at Mirador Brumalia.

The Tecolote Sunrise Tour combines adrenaline, nature, mountain trails and spectacular landscapes.

During the tour you will be able to appreciate the agricultural environment of the region, including apple, peach, cauliflower and corn crops, as you advance through off-road terrain until you reach the viewpoint.

From Mirador Brumalia, you can enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the Pacaya volcano, Lake Amatitlán, Guatemala City and the surrounding area, accompanied by the magic and tranquility of the early hours of the day.

Itinerary

  • 3:30 am: Departure from Antigua Guatemala
  • Transfer to Magdalena Milpas Altas to begin the adventure.
  • 4:00 am: Arrival at the meeting point
  • Reception of the group, preparation and organization before starting the tour.
  • 4:30 am: Induction and explanation
  • Explanation of the route, terrain conditions, proper use of the ATV and safety recommendations.
  • 4:30 am: Start of the tour
  • The adventure begins on off-road trails, traversing the mountainous environment and enjoying the agricultural landscapes of the region.
  • 5:00 am: Arrival at Mirador Brumalia
  • Arrival at the panoramic viewpoint to enjoy the scenery and prepare to receive the sunrise.
  • 5:00 – 5:45 am: Viewpoint Experience
  • to enjoy the sunrise, take photographs and appreciate the stunning views of the Pacaya volcano, Lake Amatitlán, Guatemala City and the surrounding area.
  • 5:45 am: Start of the return
  • I return along the mountain paths to the meeting point.
  • 6:15 am: Arrival at the meeting point
  • Completion of the experience in Magdalena Milpas Altas.
  • 6:45 am: Return to Antigua Guatemala
  • Return transfer to Antigua Guatemala.
