What to expect from the tour?

Breathtaking landscapes: From the start of the tour, travelers will find themselves surrounded by lush vegetation. As they ascend the volcano, participants will encounter challenging yet incredibly beautiful terrain. They will experience ever-changing scenery.

As they ascend, the base camp: After a strenuous hike, they will arrive at base camp, a perfect place to rest and enjoy a spectacular sunset. From here, they can observe the Fuego volcano in action, emitting fumaroles and sometimes even small eruptions, offering a breathtaking natural spectacle.

Sunrise over the volcano: One of the most breathtaking experiences of the tour is watching the sunrise from the summit of Acatenango. You'll have the opportunity to witness the sun illuminating the mountainous landscape and enjoy panoramic views of the nearby volcanoes.

What does the tour include?

Group transportation: Enjoy a comfortable and scenic ride to the Acatenango volcano. Guided hike: A guide will lead you to our campsite (cabins) where you can rest and enjoy spectacular views of the Fuego volcano, as our cabins are located directly across from it. Meals: Lunch and dinner on the first day, and breakfast on the following day. You can choose between regular, vegan, or vegetarian options.

Hot drinks, campfire at camp, and camping. Mountain equipment: Hat, gloves, jacket. Expert guides: Our specialized guides will accompany you throughout the trek, providing information about the geography, history, and

fauna of the area.

SCHEDULES:

8:00 am departure from our location which we will indicate at the time of your purchase

Hiking time: 4-6 hours from the start to the cabins.

3:30 pm Arrival at the base, rest and enjoy the wonderful view of

Volcano of fire. Then an afternoon of bonfire.

Next day: 3:00 am hike to the highest peak of the volcano to enjoy a beautiful sunrise, then we descend to the base for breakfast and begin the descent.

The descent begins at 7:00 am.

12:30 pm arrival in Antigua

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WHAT TO BRING:

Flashlight, EXTRA warm clothing, we provide, hat, gloves and jacket.

Wooden support rod included. (Professional rods 100 quetzales extra), Scarf

Raincoat if needed, chocolates, nuts, sweets and an energy drink if desired, bring 1 Coca-Cola, at least 3 liters of water, sun hat, insect repellent

Toilet paper, a backpack of at least 40 liters, climbing boots, or sports shoes
